SMA membership criteria and process:

1. Members need to be Residents of Sammamish and Issaquah, unless waiver requirements are met, as per SMA By-laws
2. Members need to be 18+ years of age and above on or before the start date of membership
3. The membership is valid for at least one year from the start date of membership
4. New members have a 120 days probationary period before they are eligible to vote
5. Each member needs to donate a minimum amount of $25 per calendar year to be eligible to vote (Donation Link)
       – For new member registrations for any calendar year, in order to be eligible to vote for Board elections in December, August 1st is the cutoff date for donation and any required member registration

      –  For existing members, membership is automatically renewed with minimal annual donation

      –  Households can either have one member donate on behalf of all eligible members or have each member donate the minimum amount separately 

      –  Each household member must have a unique, registered email address
