Sma Mosque Parking Guidelines
Assalamu Alaikum,
We would like to share some important guidelines, reminders and updates regarding parking especially during busy times such as Juma’ah, events and Ramadan.
Parking Guidelines & Updates:
- Carpool & Arrive Early: To secure a designated parking spot and avoid last-minute congestion, please arrive early.
- Respect Our Volunteers and Security Team: They are following a structured plan to ensure parking runs smoothly for everyone.
- Do Not Park on Bike Lanes: Parking on bike lanes is prohibited and unsafe. Please be mindful of cyclists and pedestrians. Violators maybe ticketed or towed.
- Respect Our Neighbors: Do not block driveways, park on private property, or create inconvenience for our neighbors. Let’s maintain a good relationship with our community.
- Parking Updates: We will send parking status updates on this WhatsApp group
- Cones & Restrictions: If cones are placed at the main parking lot entrance, please do not move them or attempt to enter.
- Illegal Parking: Any vehicle parked illegally will be towed.
- Feedback & Suggestions: If you have any suggestions or concerns, please reach out to [email protected] We appreciate your input in improving our parking system.
- Overflow parking on neighborhood streets. The map below shows in green the roads that can be used for parking. Do not park in the red zones and observe traffic and parking requirements.
Please respect and follow the guidelines. Violators maybe ticketed and towed without notice.
Temporary Additional Parking for Ramadan & Eid (open on selected days only)
- Grass Parking: We have added 25 additional parking spots on the grass next to the main parking lot.
- Volunteer Assistance: Volunteers will be available to guide traffic to these new parking areas.
- Overflow Parking: Additional parking is available at 216th Ave SE, just an 8-minute walk to the masjid.
